# Online Verifier

The tokenproof Online Verifier enables websites and applications to easily integrate tokenproof token-gates. 

Using a few lines of code, a Verifier will be able to display a button or widget labeled "Authenticate with tokenproof", which the user will be able to click in order to start the authentication flow. The integration will point to a previously established policy set by the Verifier, using the Verifier Portal. 

When a user authenticates with tokenproof, they will be able to use their tokenproof mobile wallet to authenticate past the token-gate. This applies to individuals who hold an active tokenproof membership.

Additionally, the tokenproof online verifier will also allow users to prove ownership of tokens through the traditional mechanism of connecting a wallet and signing a message, if the user is not enrolled in the tokenproof membership.
